I’d take my daughter into Liverpool Street, hand her over to my parents who kindly looked after her—and then I’d head off to see clients, measuring suits and building my brand one fitting at a time.
No team. No big budget. Just sheer determination, passion, and a lot of juggling.
Seventeen years on, the fittings are sharper, the clients more international—but the heart of it hasn’t changed. Still personal. Still built on relationships. Still loving what I do.
For anyone starting out—keep going. It’s never perfect, but it’s always worth it.
